Ashleigh Thomas

I am a data scientist with previous training in math (PhD, Duke) and electrical engineering (BSE, University of Pennsylvania).

After a postdoc at the NSF-Simons Southeast Center for Mathematics and Biology, I started working in industy data science. My experience centers around feature extraction, with research in metric and feature development for shape analysis, and industry experience in feature design including automated feature design. I'm interested in pursuing work in NLP (natural language processing).

I am seeking a remote data science position. Ideally, that job would be at a company with cross-functional teams and strong mentoring networks.
