I am a data scientist and mathematician with previous training in electrical engineering who specializes in shape-based feature extraction. In spring of 2019 I completed a Ph.D. in applied mathematics at Duke under the advisement of Ezra Miller. I am now a postdoc at the University of Florida with mentors Peter Bubenik and Hang Lu as part of the NSF-Simons Southeast Center for Mathematics and Biology

I am seeking a data science position that is either remote or located in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area.

Interests: algebra, geometry and topology, combinatorics, feature extraction, automation, biology, environmental science, medicine, equity and inclusion in math.
